Let me know your thoughts...

Quote from Chad Ullom on February 25, 2021, 12:08 pmI also had a question regarding the depression comment toward the end. I take this as being aimed at ppl with mild depression. I have concerns about those with a serious chemical imbalance. Overall, found it very useful and helpful i have recommended to many friends and colleagues

It seems clear to me too that he is addressing people who are already "high functioning". Sorry about that language.
He already had an abnormal amount of confidence, self-control and self-possession prior to his "enlightenment" experience and writing these books. This came from the near-drowning incident. There is a name for this kind of experience but I can't remember what it is. It creates a sense of omnipotence.
While there is alot he is saying that is true, he's leaving out alot of things that he has little experience with. Those of us who have different experiences than him should prolly proceed with caution and integrate what he's saying with their own direct experience as best as we can. I'm glad this course is free right now, because paying $1000 for something that might mislead/hurt me is problematic. He's not a Doctor. He cannot diagnose or prescribe or cure. I've never seen him make these disclaimers so I think it's on us to just take this for granted. I'm not really complaining because it's impossible to get anything really useful out of people who are protecting themselves legally. I've tried. For years. There is alot of truly useful stuff here. And I'm glad it's still available.
Just to be clear:
I've had an "enlightenment experience" too and some of the same things were disclosed by The Field of Knowledge (or whatever you want to call it). He has been able to retain and integrate it better than I could because of reasons, so I recognize alot of this stuff already from memory of my own direct experience. I love the Self-Map. It's literally priceless. But much of this I've already had for over a decade. Nobody believes me, tho. LOL
I realize these messages are old, but I'm responding for the sake of other readers.
I have Complex PTSD. And my experience is very different than his and I have different specific knowledge.
