Hormones
Quote from Shauna McClanahan on April 30, 2022, 4:12 pmHello! I just finished the course and I am so grateful for the experience. I really feel like I gained great tools and understanding. I am hoping you have further information on mind hacking when dealing with hormones. I use the equation of emotion to calm myself down but when dealing with hormones they will keep the same feelings cycling back.

Quote from Stepheny Cashion on July 30, 2023, 3:23 pmHi Shauna, I'm a fellow hormonal human! Nice to meet you! I've found journaling especially helpful during these times. It helps my brain to calm down. Sometimes the name it to tame it and equation of emotion just aren't enough. I've gotta write it down, and reflect for a while. Then some days, a good old fashioned cry can help re-set my brain. Physical stress, which I consider hormonal changes to count as, can make mind mastery more difficult. Forgive yourself and start over each day anew. I know this post is over a year old, but I hope this helps if you're still struggling! And if you have found other coping mechanisms to get through hormonal days, please update this thread, as I love input from others! Thank you! I hope you're having a great day!
