Doing this in your sleep
I guess you can do this in your sleep. I caught myself in a dream, where I lay there next to a woman who was asking me bunch of questions related to my opinions and positions on various things, acting like my psychologist, and I remember at one point saying "the me". I am not a native English speaker, and the dream (as far as I remember) wasn't in English, but since I had trouble translating "the me" to Serbian, in my dream, I used English language for that sequence of responses just to be able to describe "THE ME" thought process. Other parts of the dream are a bit hazy, but that part burned into my mind.
If anyone here is from Serbia, please share your translation of "THE ME", since I need to do extra mental work to separate from though processes, without this "simple" mechanism.
